Teams using Rollstack
We mapped our Tableau data to slides once with Rollstack. Now every executive report updates itself. It's the part of our data stack we didn't know was missing.

Tripadvisor's Finance Analytics and Data Science team sits within the Finance organization and supports the entire business. The eight-person team spans analytics, machine learning, and data engineering, and owns the corporate deliverable cycle: weekly performance reporting, QBRs, board decks, and quarterly and annual reporting.
The heaviest deliverable was the weekly business review deck: 100+ slides and 300+ visuals and tables, shipped every Friday. The workflow had been migrated from Excel and PowerPoint into Google Sheets and Google Slides, with embedded image links powering most visuals. As the deck grew, the process became too fragile to scale, even as the team maintained Tableau dashboards containing many of the same visuals.
The team evaluated Google Add-ons, Apps Script, and Slideform before choosing Rollstack. They partnered with procurement on a business case that went beyond one deck: the solution had to work across different data sources, teams, and presentation platforms.
The rollout ran in three stages. A Q1 2025 pilot focused on the weekly business review deck. Cross-team demos came next, led by existing Tableau and Looker power users, with FAQ resources built together with Rollstack and shared in Confluence and Slack. From there, adoption became self-sustaining and spread across the organization without a formal rollout plan.
Between the Q1 2025 pilot and Q1 2026, quarterly syncs through Rollstack grew from 23 to 50,591, a 2,200× increase. Active users grew from 4 to 33, sync destinations from 5 to 51, and slides generated per quarter from 12 to 937. In Q1 2026 alone, the platform reclaimed 4,216 hours for the business.
What started with one team and one workflow quickly expanded to QBRs and board decks, then beyond Finance to Marketing, Supply, and other teams. Reporting is faster and more consistent, and stakeholders have greater confidence in Tableau as the system of record. As the team puts it, Rollstack became infrastructure, not just one team's tool.
